Mi Casa Mexican Restaurant & Cantina is a kid friendly, family friendly restaurant in Breckenridge. Children are always welcome, and our kids menu has six plates with familiar fillings.

Families have eaten here since 1981, in a hacienda dining room with original oil paintings and Mexican tiles. We sit steps from the Peak 9 base and are open daily from 11:30 AM to 9 PM.

Food the Whole Family Will Eat

Our kids menu keeps to familiar fillings like cheese, chicken and ground beef. Most plates come with rice and black beans, and chicken fingers come with french fries.

Older kids and adults order from our full Mexican food menu. Chips & Dips, Mi Casa Nachos and taco plates are easy to share. The first basket of chips and salsa is free.

Our menu marks the spicy dishes, like the Baja shrimp tacos and chile colorado, so they are easy to skip. Your server can point out milder plates.

Best Times to Bring Kids

Lunch and the late afternoon are easiest. Arriving between 4 and 5:30 PM usually means walk-in seating and faster service.

From 5:30 to 7:30 PM every table is held for walk-ins, so the dinner rush can mean a wait. Parents who want a drink deal can catch our happy hour in Breckenridge, 2 to 5 PM daily in the cantina.

Large Families and Group Dinners

Parties of 7 or fewer walk in. We take large group reservations for 8 to 20 guests from 11:30 AM to 5 PM daily and from 8 PM nightly.

Parties over 14 sit at two adjacent tables, and their deposit goes toward the bill. Parties of 6 or more get an automatic 20% gratuity.

Family reunions and multi-family trips can book private dining for groups of 8 to 150 guests. Children are always welcome.
