TRACEY ROACH (General Manager) Tracey Roach, joined the Mi Casa team in 2005 after managing our sister restaurant, the Hearthstone Restaurant, for over 11 years. Her passion for Mexican cuisine continues to grow with her increased knowledge of the Mexican culture, history and tradition. She believes in keeping tradition strong in our cuisine as well as moving forward with modern creativity. Tracey has traveled to Mexico numerous times for continued tequila and culinary training, which has helped us to develop a menu of over 100 tequilas. She invites you to try one of our unique menu items and knows you will be looking forward to your next visit!
JULIE LUDWIG (Lunch Manager) Mi Casa's lunch manager for over 22 years,Julie grew up surrounded by Mexican cuisine. Having lived in Texas and California, she has cooked with and tasted many of the chilies and spices we use here daily in our homemade salsas and sauces. She enjoys sharing the traditional and unique flavor profiles of our dishes with our many guests. Julie is Serve Safe certified and oversees much of the morning's kitchen preparation staff.
BRUCE CARLTON (Executive Chef) Bruce joined the Storm Restaurants team in 1992 after moving from the East coast. He has a passion for sharing regional Mexican cuisine prepared from scratch. He learned and studied under Chefs like Diana Kennedy, Rick Bayless and Zarela Martine in both Mexico and the Culinary Institute of America. Bruce is always looking to learn more about time honored traditions in Mexican cuisine and how to apply those techniques in modern ways.
NICHOLAS BENDER (Assistant Manager) Nick joined Mi Casa in 2011 as a server and has transitioned into the Assistant Manager position this last year. He is originally from Scottsdale, Arizona where he was able to truly enjoy the food and culture of Mexico. As a young man he traveled to Mexico many times to truly experience the lifestyle and cuisine. He loves to continue to learn about the different Mexican sauces and spices that Mi Casa's is known to use in their varied delicious food selections. Nick moved to Colorado to attend the University of Colorado. As a student, he fell in love with this state. He graduated and then moved to work and live in other places but always wanted to return. He found a way back and fell in love with Breckenridge. He truly enjoys working at Mi Casa as it attracts interesting diverse people from all over the world to enjoy its food. He continues to also love beautiful Breckenridge with all that it has to offer.
SKYLER RAY Skyler joined the Mi casa team in winter of 2013 after starting his journey from the small historic town of Owego in upstate New York. With little idea what he actually wanted to do after graduating school he decided the mountains were calling his name and decided to move. Now 5 years into Breckenridge’s life style, he’s fallen in love with the mountains and the adventures that come with it. His passion for food goes hand in hand with his ambitions for life. “I want to make people as happy as I am with the food I create. Plain and simple. Everyone loves food & so do I!” His passion for the culture, foods & styles of Mexico continue to grow and influence our team every day.
