Mi Casa Restaurant & Cantina has been serving tacos in Breckenridge since 1981. Every taco is made from scratch in our kitchen, from the slow-braised meats to the salsas and marinades.

Located just steps from the base of Peak 9, we are one of the most convenient and well-loved taco spots in town for locals and visitors alike.

Our tacos are priced for two and served with Oaxacan rice and your choice of black or charro beans, so every order is a full meal. The menu runs from traditional favorites to mountain specialties you will not find anywhere else.

Choose from Rocky Mountain elk, short rib birria with consommé for dipping, slow-roasted carnitas, ancho grilled steak, Baja shrimp, seared snapper fish tacos, chicken tinga, and our vegetarian cauliflower al pastor. Each one is built on fresh ingredients and house-made salsas, finished the way it should be.

A Breckenridge Favorite Since 1981

Our elk tacos and birria tacos are two of the most ordered dishes on the entire menu. The elk is marinated in ancho garlic and topped with roasted poblano, asadero jack cheese, and agave jalapeño aioli. The birria is braised in ancho guajillo chile adobo until it falls apart, then served with rich consommé on the side.

After more than 40 years in Breckenridge, our tacos have become a tradition for families, skiers, and anyone craving real Mexican food made the right way.

Pair them with a classic margarita and free chips and salsa for the best value après ski in town. Whether you are coming off the mountain or stopping in for an early dinner, you can dine in with us or order takeout to enjoy our tacos wherever you are. Mi Casa is open daily from 11:30 AM to 9 PM at 600 South Park Avenue.

Some of the best taco deals in Breckenridge happen during our daily happy hour, served from 2 to 5 PM in the cantina. Street tacos are two for $8, with a rotating selection that includes cauliflower al pastor, Baja shrimp, chicken tinga, and steak.
